At the Spyro Gyra concert

Me (Laura Ainsworth) with my friend Lida from Connecticut at the Spyro Gyra show in downtown Dallas. Lida is a big fan and supporter of jazz in CT and NY, and she said this was one of the best outdoor concerts she'd ever attended.

About Me:
I am a singer and second generation big band/jazz lover. I grew up watching my dad Bill Ainsworth playing sax and clarinet behind such idols as Ella and Tony Bennett. I love putting new twists on great old songs, both standards and obscurities. I write for radio by day and by night, work with great jazz musicians like Brian Piper, who also produced and plays on my debut CD, "Keep It To Yourself."
