About Me:

A vibrant vocalist with a love of both jazz and modern music, Carolyn’s repertoire includes the evolution of popular songs into the jazz context, as well as beautiful renditions of the traditional and familiar jazz standards. Now, an accomplished vocalist based in Dallas, Texas, Carolyn's outstanding repertoire and the best musicians in Dallas form her band. Her main ingredients are songs from The Great American Songbook, Broadway, Jazz and Retro Pop with a jazz sensibility!

Born and raised in Nebraska, one day she hopped on a bus with 21 suitcases and boxes, $200, her best friend in tow and off they went to “Big D” yes, Dallas Texas! Her first professional career was in retailing. Carolyn ended up as a buyer traveling the world. These travels gave her opportunities to perform and to meet other musicians and songwriters.

Home based in Dallas Texas, Carolyn pas performed from Paris to NYC in various New York City Cabarets, other public venues, Jazz festivals and private parties.
