Hello Two Corks,

Welcome to the official social network of Uptown Jazz Dallas Live,  our planned International Jazz Festival and the hub of all things music, food, fashion, film and the arts in North Texas. Make yourself at home. Make use of all of the tools here to showcase what you do and what you love. Also, use the Invite tab above to expose others to us. It's already a great community. We appreciate YOU being here. Please don't hesitate to participate and share with others via the PROMOTE and SHARE buttons here on the network.

When you have spare time, familiarize yourself with the Community Guidelines we've put in place to ensure that everyone's experience on this network is of the highest quality. One of the first things to do is upload a photoID via the 'Settings' link to the upper right column of your page. Also, a FULL NAME is required and right identity. People are more likely to engage you if you identify yourself and have a photo for them to identify with you. Your real identity allows you to take advantage of the Member Benefits associated with the network (e.g. RSVP discount claims at the door of our events). We also invite Members of this network to take full advantage of the newly introduced Member Marketing Program that allows you to tap into the now 15,000+ followers of the Festival across the entire social media system. Contact us for more info at at 214.702.4286 or email corporate@uptownjazzdallas.com.

P.S.

Don't forget to RSVP and claim your immediate benefit of 50% off the door admission price at our next presentation of  UJDLive at House of Blues. Fri., 8/19

A Few Of Our Favorite Things At Kuby’s

by Steven Doyle Kuby’s has been a Dallas institution since 1961 creating house-made sausages, offering cured meats, a large variety of salads and fresh meats in their delicatessen. A few years back Karl Kuby  told us that he has a smoker … Continue reading

Kalachandji’s Offers A Cuisine Unlike Any In Dallas

Sweet Cravings: Baking Tips From Cupcake War Winner Kyra Bussanich

If there’s one downside to fabulous, food-filled holiday celebrations, it’s the gurgles and groans of post-feasting indigestion. “We assume it’s because we overate, but for a lot of people, that pain and sick feeling may not be about how much … Continue reading

I Propose Pie Season Be A Real Thing

by Steven Doyle Is there a thing called “pie season”? I know there is a Pie Council, possibly in the same vein as Garrison Keillor’s “Catsup Advisory Board” or his “American Duct Tape Council”. Pie Season to me would encompass … Continue reading
