Join us at Sigel's-Elite on Saturday, August 6th as we welcome Jay Jerrier's Cane Rosso to help us celebrate the marriage of wine, cheese & pizza. Enjoy sampling a selection of some of our favorite California wines to accompany Pizza. In addition to the wine tasting, Sigel's Cheesemonger Theresa McGee will be on hand to lead us through a tasting of Italian Cheese. Find a new wine favorite to enjoy with pizza, order your pie from Cane Rosso's wood fired oven and head home to pizza nirvana! The festivities start at 5pm and run until the dough is all gone .

For those of you not familiar with Cane Rosso, what you will find is authentic Neapolitan pizza made according to the strict guidelines of the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana - the official quality control watchdogs of true pizza. The dough is made in-house from imported, "Double Zero" Italian flour, the tomato sauce from hand-crushed San Marzano tomatoes, the mozzarella (fior di latte) is hand-pulled in house, with the  cured meats imported from Salumeria Biellese in New York.
