A special event focusing on prison issues will be presented by First Tuesday Social Justice Ministry. Join with us as we learn about these two issues affecting our society.
This free event is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Documentaries on the incarceration of the mentally ill and “How to Release a Prisoner” will be shown. A panel discussion on recidivism and rehabilitation will follow these short films.
The panel will include the Prison Entrepreneurship Program’s Executive Administrator Nancy Baker and gentleman who graduate from the program. Audience discussion will follow and input is encouraged.
This special event is part of a three month project on prison issues sponsored by the Social Justice Ministry. The Prison Entrepreneurship Program has been chose as our 2nd Sunday Share the Plate recipient for this quarter.
