- Saxophonist Aaron Whitman is an emerging young talent in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. By the time of his graduation from Rowlett High School, he had already begun playing professionally and spent two
years in Collin College's combo program. Since then, Aaron has furthered his education at Collin (where he was named to the Community College All-State Jazz Ensemble in 2008) and the University
of Texas at Arlington. Aaron teaches privately in the Garland Independent School District. He may be contacted at awhitman.jazz@gmail.com.

Welcome to the official social network of Uptown Jazz Dallas Live, Uptown Jazz Dallas | International Jazz Festival and the hub of our great North Texas Jazz Movement. Our focus is on all things music, food, fashion, film and the arts in the DFW Metroplex. Make yourself at home. There are tools here to showcase what you do and what you love. Please use the Invite tab above to expose others to the movement. It's already a great community. With You here it just got better.
