Jazz Around Town: House of Cigars (Dallas North)
Jazz Around Town's casual look at Dallas' cool jazz scene took us just north of Interstate 635 on Midway Road to a place known as House of Cigars. A business dedicated to creating hand-rolled cigars on-site and providing a place to socialize and enjoy them. We also found that they feature latin Jazz on Friday nights!
The Latin Katz play there each Friday from 10:30pm - 1am. It's free. It's BYOB and we say, "Why not?!"
We enjoyed the set. The Latin Katz perform originals and their own take on some popular tracks that you'd easily recognize. Stop in and check them out.
