Event Description

There is no admission or parking fee, but please bring a canned good for the needy and, if you have any, empty ink or toner cartridges for the recycling program.  Donations will be graciously accepted to cover the cost of the event and performers will accept tips for the time and talent they are donating.

6:00: Odin, a Norse God, welcomes all and Spin Goddess Kathy Kinkaid leads the opening ceremony.

6:30:  Rahim Quazi, a songwriter, composer, musician and vocalist, will beguile you with his particular brand of music.  7:00:  GloriChanters, chanters come from the stellar UUCOC choir led choir master Glorian Mulligan-Stratton.

7:30:  Steve Leach, no stranger to the UUCOC stage, he is a Dallas singer who accompanies himself on acoustic guitar.  Rick O'Connor, helping out on percussion and vocals, is also a guitarist.

8:00:  John Mason, singer, songwriter and musician, is originally from Enid, OK who now lives in Grand Prairie.

8:30:  Emmeline, a tiny girl who writes acoustic jazz-pop whose original songs tell stories.

9:00: Drums Not Guns moves participants outdoors as they provide rhythms for final event – a Spiral Dance led by Raven Crow High Priestess Pam Kincaid.  Drums Not Guns, a non-profit, is dedicated to promoting peace through the power of perscussion.

Other events scheduled throughout the evening in other areas of the campus include storytelling, children’s crafts, fortune telling, Earth Loom decorating, Labyrinth Walk meditation, and a Yule Log burning.
