If you enjoy listening or playing jazz in a quiet setting, then come on down to the Labyrinth Walk Coffee House at 3839 W. Kiest Blvd, Dallas, TX 75233 on the 2nd Sunday of each month starting January 12, 2014. Jam will start at 5 pm and end around 7 pm. Admission is free, but the experience - priceless!!! All tips will be distributed evenly among the performers.
Musicians bring your instruments, voice, and your Real Books (Hal Leonard 6th edition VOL I & II) and join in with the fun. If you want to try something new, bring it along as well. Sorry, but there is no equipment for musicians to use, so please be as self contained as possible. We are always looking for drummers willing to set up and share their drums for the occasions.
Please RSVP to Gene at jazzjam@labyrinthwalkcoffeehouse.com so we will know how many of you guys and gals to expect.
If you participate by listening then bring your wine, beer and food. Listeners may even bring candelabra to decorate their table for the evening. Plan on having a great time and hearing some of the finest musicians in the Metroplex. Invite a friend or two or more to join you in a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
