Event Description

The Labyrinth Walk Coffee House continues on with its enjoyable 2nd Sunday Afternoon Jazz Jam. Admission is free!!! Tips will be distributed among the performers. 

Musicians, singers, listeners and lovers of jazz, bring your instruments, beverages (wine and beer ok), food, friends and family and join us. 

Musicians and vocalists please bring your Real Books (Hal Leonard 6th edition VOL I & II). If you want to try something newly written, bring it along as well with the sheet music and the lyrics. We have no equipment for musicians to use so please be as self contained as possible. We always need drummers willing to set up and share their drums for the occasions. http://www.labyrinthwalkcoffeehouse.com

March’s session saw audience entertained by Albert Harrah, bass; Alan Barnes, drums and vocals; Tim Sliter, trumpet, Latoya Cooper, vocals; Pat Brown; Patrick Walsh, Alto, soprano sax and middleeastern drums; Rick Colgrove, clarinet, Dale Colgrove, trumpet, recorders and vocals; Lady Diamond- Katrina Dauway, vocals; Darrel Web, guitar; Ed McSweeney, drums, percussion; Will Carmichael, bass, uke; and De Porres, keyboard.

And keep dates open for our upcoming Jazz Under the Stars on the following Sundays starting at 7:30. Tickets are $10 for each or $25 for the all three.  Please bring your own lawn chairs and food and beverages (wine and beer OK).

May 11: The E-Flat Porch Band -  music includes folk, blues, early country, jazz and original tunes.

May 18: Chilo & The High Energy Band -  traditional Latin music combined with jazz, blues and flamenco.

May 25: Lady Diamond – classically trained, her vocals are a fusion of jazz, classic and soul.
