Andrew McKnight left his corporate environmental engineering career in 1996 and became an award-winning folk and Americana artist.
His musical talents, empathy and talent have led to a diverse range of subjects from “These Shoes” about the vulnerability of an illegal immigrant woman to “Diary” about what Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemings wrote about their lives together.
McKnight advocates for preservation of American landscapes and heritage and often shares his talents to help with such programs as those for mental health and elderly care.
Emmeline ia a pint-sized singer/songwriter from Dallas, TX who revels in big words, unconventional cords, and persistent melodies. The Dallas Morning News labeled her “A Must-See Texas Artist.”
