6 Tatiana Mayfield
Smooth, refreshing, and unique is how many have described the voice and persona of Tatiana Mayfield , a jazz vocalist, musician, and educator from Fort Worth, Texas. “LadyMay” (as she has been named) has been singing and playing jazz music since the tender age of thirteen. Since then, she has performed in various venues and festivals throughout the U.S., which in turn have earned her rave reviews from listeners and musicians in addition to numerous awards.
13 Rob Holbert Group
Led by tenor saxophonist Rob Holbert, this group is well known for their delivery of Smooth Jazz, standards, and classics. Holbert has shared the stage with performers such as Bobby Bland, Pieces of a Dream, Betty Wright, Althea Rene, and Joe McBride.
20 Stockton Helbing
Dallas-based drummer and composer Stockton Helbing leads his quartet through his original music. Stockton has released five albums to date, including his most recent Handprints. He has performed and recorded with a large range of artists including Maynard Ferguson, Erykah Badu, Steve Wiest, David Braid, Doc Severinsen, and many more.
27 Carolyn Lee Jones
Carolyn Lee Jones’s influences and choices of genre are as broad as her vocal stylings are rich. She wraps her audience around her finger with the simplest lyric and fascinates with her mixture of styles. It is something of an audio calling card, the perfect representation of who she is and the musicians in her band.
