UNT One O’Clock Lab Band presents the music of Maynard Ferguson
The One O'Clock Lab Band is the premier musical ensemble from the University of North Texas. This big band, under the direction of the great composer-arranger Steve Wiest, is known for its outstanding execution of jazz standards as well as the performance of exceptional contemporary compositions by both current and former members of the band and others. The One O’Clock will open up Jazz in the Atrium’s DJAM’s celebration with a performance highlighting pieces from the UNT Maynard Ferguson Collection.
