Due to the first night of Gregory Porter LIVE! at The Bloomsbury Theatre selling out in a matter of hours, we are delighted to announce this additional date on Wednesday, June 13, 2012. 

We are also pleased to announce news that our opening act for both London nights will be Zara McFarlane, a hugely promising newcomer to the British jazz scene signed to Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Recordings. The 28-year-old London vocalist will be featuring music from her brand new album Until Tomorrow and will provide the perfect start to an incredible night of aural & visual entertainment.

Brian Hurst returned on Saturday to deliver a plethora of musical treats as part of The Hurst Selection - overflowing with 27 wonderful drops of the good stuff. There was crisp biscuits - lots of them, including the freshest of flavours from Swing Out Sister, The Hidden jazz Quartett feat. Omar, Jeff Bradshaw alongside Raheem Devaughn and jazz flavours from the fine forthcoming Leo Gandleman album. Classic funk was on hand from The Gap Band and the mighty Earth, Wind & Fire plus there was Latin flavours in the mix as well. Two hours in total that are available to download in CD quality by clicking on the link above. Happy ears BTW, come as standard.
