Red Virgo Productions surges the native Linden, New Jersey artist, Curt Jones [Funk/ R&B Vocalist / Lyricist / Musician / Producer] into the 21st Century with 2 previous sensational solo CD projects, and available now, his 3rd CD release entitled “Curt Jones III.” Indeed! This dynamic performer, whose primary instruments are guitar, bass and keyboards, displays many of his multifaceted assets; producing, writing, arrangements, and chord progressions that ascend the listener on a one-way ticket to Venus by way of musical elliptical genius!
Curt Jones III contains a variety of “feel good” grooves, funk and blues vibes reminding you where his Funk comes from on the track “Never Thought You’d Say Goodbye,” paying homage to his unforgettable affiliation and funky times with Slave, Aurra and Deja. Other highlighted tracks like “Love Knows No Color and U Stole My Heart” feature rap performances by his talented son, Topaz Jones. Like his father, he also sings, writes, produces and arranges music and has numerous mixed tapes and video productions currently available on YouTube. Topaz is also working on his first CD Album project for future release.
Curt Jones III also takes you on a romantic tour with melodic overtures like “Can We Make Love”, and featuring his first instrumental musical piece, “Si Pudiera Despertar Junto a Ti”, (If I Could Wake Up Next To You), easing the listener apace to a retreat unlike no other.
This phenomenal CD revisits Jones’ legendary funk, pop, smooth jazz and soulful cerebral musical styling. Songs like “Share Your Love,” allows the listener to take an expedition of self-enjoyment with smooth lead vocals and tight background harmonies reminiscent of Jones’ greatest influence, Marvin Gaye. Like his previous CD projects, 360 Degrees and Solo, Curt Jones III ignites sparks in the Adult Contemporary to Jazz, R&B and pop communities.
