Profile Information

About Me:
Even in Dallas, a city teeming with talent, Ceci London is unique. Her smooth, soulful, silky vocal style puts her in a class that resembles many but compares to no one.

Ceci grew up in a family of talented musicians and vocalists. Born in Alamogordo, NM but raised in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, she began
performing with popular local groups by the age of 16. Her music venture began performing with various Latin and Tejano groups and bands, mesmerizing her audiences with her unique and soulful R&B and Jazzy style, which caught the attention of local R&B and Jazz groups thriving in the local music and entertainment industry in the Dallas area.

Once arrived, she became a high-profile R&B and Jazz performer while at the same time building her reputation as a prolific songwriter and recording artist. Opportunities ensued to sing on jingles for radio, TV, commercials and eventually recorded on both Independent record labels and becoming a major label artist and performer signed to Virgin Records. In the course of her career. Ceci has toured the country as well as performed overseas sharing the stage with many R&B and Jazz artists as a show opener; Kenny G, Kirk Whalum, Baby Face & the Deal, Mint Condition, Michael Cooper, Tony Terry and Stacy Lattisaw to name a few.

Some of her vocal influences are obvious, but include and are not limited to: Nancy Wilson, Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Stephanie Mills, Denise Williams, Patrice Rushen, Earth, Wind & Fire, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Patti LaBelle, Phyllis Hyman, Teena Marie, Anita Baker, Regina Bell, Chaka Kahn, Sade, Rochelle Farrell, Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans, Kelly Price, Jill Scott, Angie Stone, Erykah Badu, Ledisi and so many more.

Ceci continues to pursue her life-long goal to be prolific as a Singer, Songwriter and Entertainer. She has joined forces with the Talented and Incomparable Curt Jones, a native of New Jersey and equally as prolific a Songwriter, Producer, Musician, Vocalist and former member of R&B and Funk Groups "Slave", "Deja" and "Aurra". Ceci and Curt have not only been focused in live show performances together locally and on the road, but in their collaborations, they are soon to release her first full Album CD by early 2016. This production is sure to have a variety of smooth, classy, sultry and funky R&B and Jazz sounds for all her diverse audiences to enjoy!
