Event Description

Enjoy listening to Jazz in a quiet, friendly setting with your glass of wine or cold beer? Then come to the 2nd Sunday Jazz Jam on August 14 from 5 to 7 pm. Admission is free; the experience priceless!

Tips divided among the musicians. The Labyrinth Walk Coffee House (LWCH) is located at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Oak Cliff, 3839 W. Kiest Blvd., Dallas.

The jam consistently attracts some of the finest jazz musicians in the DFW area  including amateurs, semi-pros and professionals are invited to sit in – and recently a comb musician.

Musicians and vocalist please bring, along with your instrument(s) (piano available), your Real Books (Hal Leonard 6th edition VOL I & II). If you want to try something newly written, bring it along as well. Please be as self-contained as possible as we have no equipment for musicians.

If possible, but not required, musicians please RSVP to so we will know how many of you to expect. If you don’t response, don’t let that stop you – come anyway!

Attendees, feel free to bring your soft drinks, wine and/or beer and food, if you wish, along with family and friends.

Drummers: A Drum Circle scheduled for 7:15 depending on participation.  Stay and listen or bring you drums and join in.

The LWCH is a non-profit operated entirely by volunteers.   - See more at:
