29th Annual International Conference & Festival of Blacks in Dance

January 25–29, 2017
Dallas, Texas

The 29th Annual International Conference and Festival of Blacks in Dance is expected to bring more than 800 participants from around the world to Dallas, Texas, January 25-29, 2017. The four-day event features three evenings of showcase performances, daily master classes, panels, and workshops.

Dallas Black Dance Theatre fulfills its commitment to dance education at the national and international level by hosting the conference and festival as a part of its 40th annual season.

This event has become an epicenter for all individuals who are interested in the rich history, contributions, and advancement of black dance performance and artistry.
